1972 Ford Pinto station wagon
Picture by Steve Manning in late '71 or early '72.
- While the Pinto sedan & hatchback debuted
in 1971, the wagon model did not appear until the 1972 model
year. This picture was taken at Transpo '72, a transportation
fair held in Washington D.C. This Pinto was featured prominently
in one of the displays, on a rotating turntable outside one of
the main buildings
