1993 Alpina (BMW) B3 3.0 Touring station
wagon
A 3.0 litre engine with 250 bhp
enabled the B3 (based on the E36 BMW) to accelerate from 0-100
km/h in just 6.1 seconds, with a top speed of 255 km/h. The B3
had the usual Alpina changes - big brakes, Bilstein gas pressure
shocks, Alpina wheels and so on. This car was also available
with the Switch-tronic transmission (a Formula-1 style transmission
where you change gears with buttons in the steering wheel).
