The end of an era.....the last year and model of GM full-size, rear-wheel drive station wagons.  This particular car has every available option.  This is one of the 'Collectors Edition' models; the car has a hood bezel that says 'Collectors Edition', and the alloy wheel center insert says the same thing.  Buick did this to commemorate the last year of this model, although it is unclear how many examples were labeled as 'Collectors Edition'.

Stan factory ordered this wagon in Aug. '96.  He ordered it with only the basic package so as to just get the power seat he wanted.  The woodgrain and the 3rd seat were both deleted.  His personalization has been minimal (tint, chome wheels w/baby moons, blacked out grill, "GS" emblems) but after the warranty runs he's beefing up the tranny and looking for a nice set of Bonneville bucket seats.
